Routine induction at 41 weeks — the end of watchful waiting

12 June 2021 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
ARM is very concerned about the recent NICE draft IoL guideline which proposes inducing labour in normal pregnancies at 41 weeks instead of 42 weeks. In view of this we are changing the theme of the June meeting to address the guideline.
Speakers include:
Hannah Dahlen — presents the recent paper (Intrapartum interventions and outcomes for women and children following induction of labour at term in uncomplicated pregnancies: a 16-year population-based linked data study)
Florence Wilcock — obstetrician queries the evidence base
Margaret Jowitt — physiology of the onset of labour
Members of ARM Steering Group — key evidence

We hope you appreciate the change of theme and look forward to this important discussion of the evidence. Please let others know who might be interested.
